Despite restarting the app and going back online about 8 times in the past 30 minutes, I keep getting error code EC:200 ("You've been offline for awhile, restart the app and sign in so we can make sure it's really you") every time I try to launch a game (The Sims 4) in offline mode.
My internet is getting shut off today but I still get dragged back to a confirmation screen. That is not real offline mode. I want a real offline mode where I am never forced to confirm my account and update.
I can't pay my internet bill it's gotten to high and my power bill is not to much. Illinois USA. And gas prices. I need a break from paying bills. I need your game that I paid money for to be a real offline game. End live service!
I can't edit by previous post. I meant to say my power bill went from $200 a month to $500 a month. *My power bill is to high so I cannot afford internet anymore. I have to shut off internet I cannot pay the bill. I should own Sims4 outright but I don't because of your app functioning "offgrid."
I was logged in and viewing the app via wifi, but then lost wifi and tried to play the sims 4. it told me it "had been a while since i was logged in through wifi and it needed to verify my identity." It logged me out and did the same problem after logging back in with a code from my email. SO, it's not that you can't verify my identity or account, but you have some other problem.
If the app literally won't let me play the game, then I'll just find a different game creator and a better game without a million bugs and glitches because of poor planning and greed. EA, you have found the straw that broke me from even playing at all. I hope everyone else who has this problem also abandons your declining games
