Re: Steam overlay not working on EA games owned on and launched via Steam

Same here. Few weeks ago everything was working fine, now doesn't matter which EA game it is, steam overlay doesn't work at all. Tried it with Battlefield V, It Takes Two and Plants vs Zombies 2. Please fix it, it's very annoying.

Update: I found a fix. If you have EA App overlay disabled  it also somehow disables Steam overlay too. So you just have to go to EA App settings, enable overlay and it will make Steam overlay work too.

    @fultpl Thank you, that does seem to be a functional workaround. Hopefully EA can fix it so we can use the Steam overlay without the EA overlay.

    I'd mark your post as the solution, but I'm not sure if that'll mark the bug report as having been resolved.
