Why do the users always get the finger pointed at them when this app is total pants! I am fed up of companies passing the blame to the user when it is their crap software that is at fault. I get EA as part of my Xbox ultimate subscription and it is that dodgy I never install or play anything from it. You need to dump all these games onto the Xbox servers and let Microsoft handle them via their app. At least Microsofts app works!!

Definitely still not solved.  Tried it on multiple computers, same problem with the same games.  Other games download fine, like Sims or SimCity, BF3 and BF4 do not download on any computer.  This is an account problem, not windows or hardware.

@zambartasTry ORIGIN as launcher, disable EA from startup, reboot and try Origin. RUN ORIGIN AS ADMIN !

If ya think its an account problem , then contact EA SUPPORT , not by this forum !!!!

I did.  I tried Origin, I tried EA, I tried multiple computers.  Nothing works.  EA support just tells me general things like, uninstall origin and try again.  Clear cache.  Delete temporary files.  

I am at the point where I have installed FRESH versions of Windows 11, FRESH installs of Origin and EA, and STILL the same games won't download.  Only those games, other games are fine.

Don't tell me not to use this forum, that's what this forum is for.

I have the same issue when trying to install Battlefield 2042 via the Xbox Game Pass.

I believe there is also an account level issue. 

For 3 days I'm talking with EA Support and they don't understand the issue. I simply request a refund.

It won't change anything. As I'm writting you I can download BF3, BF2142 (Yes I got it), or any other game available on EA Play, but it won't work with Battlefield 2042, so what's the problem? I've already cleared the cache, reinstalled the app. Is it still our problem?
As the first person, I'm supposed to have the game since I pre-ordered it, it's in my library and I own it, is it not a problem about licence we have?

I got my games downloading and working after starting a month of EA playPro...

I am having the exact same issue and they simply wont help me. BF 2042 simply wont download onto my EA APP.

Same issue, cant download Apex Legends. Brand new gaming computer, everything else works great.

Trying it through steam now.

I cant download DAi either. Some other games work but not this one. I opened up a support ticket with them suggesting I do a live chat, but funny enough, I can't find a live chat option anywhere... the ticket just keeps taking me to resume or add something to it. I just opened another in hopes that they provide me with a link to live chat that actually works or may actually solve this issue... kind of ridiculous really.

yup, I'm having the issue too.

App can't download my game, which by the way i already have installed, but does not work due to the hilarious "YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS" issue that this pathetic, useless, abyssmal and trash company also cannot resolve.

The access error's suggested workaround is installing a game from the ea app. But hey, I can't.

FYI I was able to download the game on another account entirely.

I have not tried to run it on my main account yet, i suspect it'll still give me an access error and not allow me.

They seem to personalise the account it's an error with.

I pre-ordered "Sims 4 Growing Together" the other day, and like most Simmers, I've been eagerly awaiting the famous infant update and release of this new expansion pack since it's announcement. The day and time has arrived, I should be able to download the long-awaited addition to my Sims collection; But alas, I have encountered yet another roadblock. Why? Like for real. I spend, I wait, and here we are. Please help.

I've read through all 5 pages of this forum, I've tried every solution offered. I've cleared cache, I've cleared plenty of space for this download, but my gaming computer and limited knowledge of a viable solution can only do so much. Please help. I require further assistance and instruction. 

I've got EA play through my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I have managed to download a couple of games, which work ok. But I'm trying to install Mass Effect Legendary and getting this error. ALso trying Unravel for my kid to play but same issue. What gives?
