Repeated "Download Error" When Trying To Update and Reinstall Sims 4

When I logged into the EA app this morning, I was prompted to update the app. After preparing, the download stopped at 2% and said there was a download error.

I restarted my Macbook and uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app. No luck.

I ensured the EA app has full disk access, my mac has the correct specs to function properly, and no matter what I do, this same issue continues. I have since uninstalled the Sims 4 and attempted to reinstall one at a time, but the EA app won't let me download anything.

I have no user bans or flags. I have been troubleshooting for four hours, clearing my EA cache, clearing my sims files, etc.
