When does EA plan to stop holding our games hostage? Seven years? That is (I think) how long the Sims4 Dine out has been messed up and they have done nothing. It took them that long to fix the map glitch in EcoLifestyle too. Get a good modder to fix the new toiletAPP, they could repair it in 48 hours or less no doubt and we wouldn't be having this conversation. We certainly didn't PAY EA to have that toiletAPP foisted on us, nor are any of us happy to have PAID for games that we cannot play through no choice of ours. I was FORCED off of Origin two weeks ago and I am LIVID. I chose not to switch to the toiletAPP back in October (or whenever) because I knew it was going to be a bigger disaster than the Exxon Valdez, and well, I was right. EA ""Help"" has been reduced to nothing but delay tactics. EA now acts like I am literally garbage to be ignored overall, avoided (yeah, I know all about the "time off for family" avoidance tactic on thier website chat help for about a week, and "imploring for patience" on thier email help and is now just undisguised disregard) and outright taken advantage of, since my $$ is the only thing EA is interested in. And even after taking my money they won't even honor thier end of the contract and allow me to play the game. And I say this after I had decided about 2 years ago that the Sims 4 would be the last relationship I have with the franchise (and now EA entirely, I only have 1 game anyway) because it is absolute rubbish and getting worse. I am glad to hear that competition is on the horizon and I will have other options in the future. And even if the new simulation games elsewhere are buggy, they can never be worse than EAs toiletAPP and the Sims4.
