Is anyone else having this issue? After a couple of weeks of not playing, I tried getting on just for EA to tell me that my game license is invalid and they cannot launch the Sims 4. I’ve tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, force updating EA app from in my files and literally nothing will work. I’m not sure if this is an issue on my end or an issue with EA. Any other ideas on what I can do is appreciated!

I just went through this and there is also a big thread with people going through this issue, some of them for months! For me though, it turned out to be an issue with my account. After contacting EA Support and doing all of the technical troubleshooting it turned out to be some account setting they could fix on their end.. they wouldn't tell me what that was though, unfortunately.
I have attached my transcript with EA Support so you can see what they said, the solution is down at the bottom after multiple failed troubleshooting attempts.
Idk if this will be your fix, but it was hard to have the runaround and keep being gaslit and told it was my computer when it was in fact a simple fix on their end.- sunflowerchannie5 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
Thank you for sharing this! I’ll attempt the steps they shared with you and then try to reach out if they don’t work. I’ve tried opening a case and sending emails (with no response after a week) because the chat wait time was so long, but I’ll have to try and start a chat if it comes to that. It’s so frustrating to give them so much of our money and support just to be brushed off or ignored. I’m glad your game was fixed and it’s messed up that it’s something on their end and they’re just giving so many people the run around instead of being transparent :’)
