Hey Everyone,
I was able to solve this problem tonight. I've been locked out for weeks. I went on the live chat service and the tech ran me through the same troubleshoots as I've done multiple times. I asked him to remove the sims 4 base game from my library completely. It took a few tries but eventually it was completely removed from my library. I couldn't even buy the free game to add it back to my own library. He had to add it back to my account on his end and the game launched just fine afterwards.
SillyMeg You had replied to my original post. I know you've been going through it on this forum man. It's a slog but see if you can get someone from the live chat support to try that for you too. I really hope it helps!
EA_Leeuw Hi. Seems like you're the person from the EA team looking over this forum. I outlined some steps above that fixed this problem for me! Not sure if you can put it down as another possible solution for folks looking for options.

Glad to see you and I believe one other person were able to get it working again. Unfortunately my laptop I was using for the Sims 4 died trying to fix this issue so until I get a new one I won't be able to see if it will fix the issue. I'm hoping the others see this and have it also fix the issue for them as well.
