Still unable to play my only EA game - The Sims 4. Does anyone have a screenshot of what this mythical License folder is supposed to look like? I know where it is supposed to be but IT IS NOT POPULATING for these customers. I see this same issue showing up in the Battlefield Earth forum.
Ran Windows Update for stealth updates (of course there were some).
I uninstalled the Sims 4 again.
Unlinked my EA account from Steam (invalid license for Sims via Steam confirmed).
Uninstalled Steam and EA App.
Closed EA Background Service via Task Manager.
Ran Revo to clean out any leftover files.
Restarted PC.
Dowloaded and installed latest version of EA App.
Downloaded and installed The Sims 4 (no expacs, stuff packs, etc.).
Attempted to play The Sims 4 - "Game license is invalid"
I played this game delightfully until April 2025 and have missed out on several in-game events for exclusive items.
