Sims 4 download stuck at 14% try again in a few minutes

I’ve had sims 4 through ea app and after all those new updates my sims download keeps getting stuck on 14% and telling me to try again later it’s been like a month of me trying now and I’ve tried different things like a factory reset on my MacBook and still the same problem
