Sims 4 game not launching

I bought the Sims 4 game on origin years ago. I haven't played in a long time because I am very confused on how to switch it over from origin to the EA app. I tried opening the game when it was still...

    Hi @hockeymegan09 & @becca020,

    If your game library isn't showing your owned games in the EA App and you're not seeing your DLC, then most likely you're logging into the EA App with the wrong login details. You need to login to the app with the same details that you originally purchased your content on, and you'll see everything available in your library to download and access again.

    I'd recommend checking any emails you have for the email receipt of your purchases so you know which account to login to the EA App to. If you need further help locating the correct login details, that's something live support can help with- you can reach out to live support by submitting a help request here, or you can get in touch with that team via Twitter or Facebook as well.

please help I had the sims four on origin, it switched over to ea app a while ago and it was normal, but today i cant open the sims because when i went to the ea app as usual, it said the shortcut was moved or something, and uninstalled it, and the actual sims itself shortcut wont work because apparently it needs origin???? help

    @CricketGrrl  Delete the shortcut and try to launch Sims 4 through your EA App game library.  If it doesn't work, repair the game (Manage > Repair) and try again.

    You can create a new shortcut by right-clicking the original TS4_x64.exe and selecting Send to > Desktop (shortcut).  The .exe is probably in one of these locations:

    Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

    Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
