sims 4 hours reset themselves

I just got on to play and my hours have reset from over 10,000 to just 2,000 out of nowhere. I lost over 333 days in play time, is there any way to fix this? I reset cache+repaired my game but absolu...

I know I had like 2500 hours on the game and I just checked and its down to 200. I haven't done or changed anything.

help please ☹️

basically my game loaded in as the like regular game instead of the limited edition for whatever reason. It says "Limited Edition Owned" but no way of actually using it. I contacted EA and they basically said there was nothing the could do. 

help please!
