Sims 4. Mac. EA app. Language Issue. Game not installed
So...
Mac user.
Had to switch to EA app recently.
Always had my game in russian language.
After one of the background auto-updates, my Sims 4 switched to Czech language.
The next 4 days I had a bunch of communication with Support Agents and re-installed my game 12+ times. Each re-install took me more than an hour. Just feel this pain.
Nothing helped. I was asked to report a bug. So I do this.
Things I was asked for and did (but it didn't help). Each advice was ending with re-installation of the game:
- Turn it off and on again (yep, classic)
- Clear Cache in the EA app
- Reinstall the game from scratch after Mac restart
- Reinstall the EA app and then re-install the game
- Update the language in your EA account and EA app
- Update your Region to the same as your language in both, EA account and EA app (btw EA app doesn't have russia in the list, but that's fine)
- Remove all the mods and turn them off
Things I found:
- the basic game installs fine with the right chosen language
- the issue happens when I try to install any of the 61 addons, it doesn't matter if it's a kit of a pack, etc. So I believe the issue is on the devs side
Details:
- Mac OS
- EA app (NOT Origin!!!)
- Ukrainian Region. Unfortunately, no language Ukrainian localisation, so had to use the russian language.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Buy Sims 4 Deluxe with Support of 3 languages: Czech / Polish / russian
- Install the game on it's own from scratch, choose russian language
- Run the game after installation : everything is OK and is correct, the language is russian
- Choose any of the additional content and download it
- After complete download, try to run a game
- Get a message from the EA app:
- Repair the game
- Run the game after Repair proccess
- The game is set to Czech language
Need it to be in russian language.
So. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE see this topic and help!
I beg you. I spent so much money and time and completely frustrated that no one is trying to help or fix this.
With all the respect to the Support Team, I am struggling here.

And yes. I am ready to switch to English if possible, but is there even a case?
