    I was able to get it to work by uninstalling EA Desktop. Then, repairing Sims 4 on Origin. Finally, I re-installed EA Desktop. Thank you so much for your help.

It happens no matter which launcher I use. Sims 4 doesn't start even when I attempt to open it without a launcher. This started when I installed EA Desktop.

Did you attempted the game repair?
Did you tried if it works after deinstalling EA Desktop?
