Something went wrong

I tried installing Sims 4 on an SSD, but the download started freezing. I tried to cancel it and remove the disk, but it wouldn't work. It just kept freezing. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it's still showing the download and now it's displaying "something went wrong." I haven't been able to cancel and restart the download.

    Hey there,

Clearing the EA App's cache should help with that.

    1. Open the app, click on the EA app menu (next to the Apple logo) in the top-left corner & left-click on 'Help'.
    2. Left-click on 'App Recovery'.
    3. Left-click on 'CLEAR CACHE'.
    4. You might be asked to allow permission for the clear cache process to run. Please enter your macOS local account username and your macOS local user account password. Not your EA account email address and password! If you forgot your user or account name on Mac, please click here for more info.
    5. The EA app will now clear its cache and restart.

    I hope this helps! 🙂
