Hey @5s1fyti0llit have you checked your system security programs to ensure that none are blocking the EA app?

But I reset my internet. I have ethernet cable connected.
Everything else runs fine on the internet but this installer!
I get the same error when running the EA App installer (see attached screenshot). It has nothing to do with the user's Internet access, and all to do with the faulty EA implementation. The EA log shows that the request to fetch a needed package is malformed, or the URL it's trying to fetch it from (probably hard-coded, and out of date) is unavailable:

OK so I had the same issue and we're in July now... I was finally able to install the app after 2 days looking for an answer.
I took calatorului2 hint on the log file and decided to look at the URLs. By looking at the first log file, I found the URL below, from which I downloaded and installed the file.
Then I had to go through another round of installing, getting the error and looking at the log to find the second URL from which I downloaded and installed AGAIN the file.
BOOM! It worked. I found out by looking at the "Recently added" list in the Windows Start menu.
Hope it fixes it for you guys as well...!
