The EA Windows App keeps crashing during installation

Hi, I purchased the Sims 4 many months ago and stopped playing it. I'm trying to install the EA app on Windows now and despite combing through this forum and trying out different methods, like manual...

@simblrina can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with EA app.

App Crashes
App opens for 1 minute then closes. Signing out and back in does not help, clearing cache does not help, neither does restarting app. Problem began after App updated.

can't load sims
ever since the new update i haven't been able to load the ea app without using data OR even load the sims game at all. I have tried absolutely everything they've suggested and nothing's helped
