The sims 4 not appearing on home page of EA app

I've had this problem for a month now and i'll try every once in a while to look and see if it's been fixed and it hasn't. Basically the problem is that when I open the EA app on my mac the place where sims should be is grayed out and loading. I've had it open before for like an hour to see if it was just a waiting thing but it didn't load up. When I open the sims 4 app on its own, it'll load up to the main page but when I pick the sims save that I want to play with it'll stay on the loading screen. I can't even repair my game because I don't have access to it on the EA app. If anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it by all means I would love to hear it. (Also I've tried rebooting the app and it still doesn't work.)
