Summarize your bug Sims 4 wont download and error's
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and download the game
What happens when the bug occurs? The download errors after staying on preparing for around a minute
What do you expect to see? The game and my 41 addons to download
This has been happening since the 27th of Dec, still having this issue now. Other games download perfectly fine but Sims 4 is the only game i cant download. The drive I'm installing on has over 800GB of space remaining. I have no clue what else to do after trying:

What happens when the bug occurs? The download gives me an error after staying on "Preparing..." for around two minutes (There's a problem with your download)
What do you expect to see? Download starts succesfully
Why I pay money for EA Pass and cant use it? I already tried everything (Clearing cache, different drives, reinstall EA APP, lower my UAC in Widnows, limit download speed in Ea app, etc) etc) @EA_Kent
@EA_Kent I'm trying to download Batlefront 2 (2017) and keep getting an error after it does the initial preparing step, I have tried all the solutions listed above but to no avail. Is there a current fix? I'm attempting to play it through the xbox gamepass/ea play bundle.

Would you please help me resolve my issue. Every time I tried to update my Sims 4 game an error popped up saying "Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes, then try again." It has continued to do this for the past week. I have full bars so it is not an internet issue, and I have also tried the other methods people have suggested. I then uninstalled Sims 4 from my EA app hoping this would resolve the issue. Instead, I can now no longer download the app. The same error continues to pop up. Can you please help me?
