- Koroxis5 years agoSeasoned Novice@EA_Darko I'm getting this too. It's the same thing in Admin mode.
Sometimes it would not recognize that I have the game downloaded and I get a prompt to download. I can start the download and point to the same directory. it seems to recognize the game is installed but the Download manager just keeps saying "Calculating".- EA_Darko5 years ago

Hey @Koroxis, can you ensure that you are running Origin as administrator and that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.
The ports to open are:
- TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
- UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900
You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.

- Koroxis5 years agoSeasoned Novice@EA_Darko This is on EA Desktop actually. I just searched for the issue and this thread came up. I let EA Desktop and EA Background Service to bypass the firewall but the same issue is showing up.
It was working fine before so I don't know what changed to make this happen.
Also, if I restart EA Desktop, then I get the "Preparing" to download, but if I restart again it goes back to "Loading".
