Summarize your bug When clicking on Install on any EA Play games within the Xbox App it attempts to download and install EA Desktop but fails to download it and provides me with a link to get it manually. I have installed EA Desktop manually and when attempting to play any of the EA Play games it is asking me to sign up for EA Play. My Xbox and EA accounts are linked. I have tried unlinking and relinking the accounts. I now can't unlink my Xbox account from EA again due to a minimum amount of time it seems.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Link Xbox and EA account. Try to Install game. Otherwise I can provide my accounts for testing if required.
What happens when the bug occurs? Asking me to sign up for EA Play.
What do you expect to see? A game download and be able to be played.

Has this been fixed? The thread was closed with no resolution and just mentioned creating a new bug report if we're running into any issues.
I am still running into issues.
- @EA_Blueberry The first quoted one in the reply is unnecessary but I can confirm that turning UAC all the way up (restart required to re-enable it), signing out of both Xbox and EA Desktop then clicking Install in the Xbox app which made EA Desktop open and start attempting to install.
I have since disabled UAC again and signed out and back into EA Desktop which is telling me I have EA Play. The accounts appear to be linked as expected.
