Unable to recover account and customer support was useless

I have been trying to recover an old account that used a deleted email so I am unable to do two-factor authentication. Looking likely that I have been locked out of an account forever that I spent hundreds of dollars on a game for. Customer support wouldn't even point me in the right direction to solve this issue. Does anyone know what I could possibly do next? Or should I just accept that I will never be able to recover the old account?

  • Sorry to say but if our live support were unable to assist you then there would be nothing that we can do on the forums to change this. 

    The best thing I can recommend is to check any old email accounts you have to see if you can locate the associated account.
