Apparently a lot of people are having this problem or similar to it after EA forced people to update the APP.
Look around the forum and you will find similar issues people are facing, I myself have not been able to log-in or play any of the game I paid for since i updated the APP.
I hope EA addresses this issue soon.

Thanks. Appreciate the moral support at the very least. Their tech support has been useless on this.

Thanks. I have mine set to auto update. Games still crash. This level of customer service is PATHETIC.
- Ravhisattva2 years agoRising Traveler@reservoirdog1972 Just for your information, if you update the app thru the website, it will update to version 13.162.0-5675
However if you go to your EA app directory and look for the eaupdate.exe and run it, a DOS window will appear and the update will run (thanks Onkelonken). This updates the app to version 13.166.0-5679
Both versions still crash and wont let you play offline error code ec:204 license expired, so no difference.....
