Won't let me switch the EA app launcher to a different drive

I can't install the EA app on my C drive because it's full. However, whenever I move it to a different drive, I now have space, and it still says I'm low on disk space. I can't find a way to fix it.i have heard it has been having issues like this for a long time, but if nothing works, I'm just not going to play any games
