Couple changes I would like

Hi,

These new forums are better than AHQ by far. But there are a couple issues and changes I would like to make known.

First of all, the way comments are sorted, the “community default” of having them all ignore that they are a reply is kinda bad. It would be much better if it defaulted to “threaded”(I have found the setting to fix this tho)

Second of all, a preview button for a post would be fantastic, especially when making bug reports with images.

Finally, this one is maybe a bug, my forums name doesn’t match my EA.com name, Lego9Fan

    Can’t say I like the changes but worst is not being able to select the page you want to skip to. Maybe it is me but either I see the threads from old to new or new to old. New to okd disrupts the fliw of the discussion and old to new makes me hit “ see more” a hundred times on a big thread. 

     

    Definitely not improved.

    1) There are use cases for both, but we had threaded at first and decided to revert to linear as it works better with the chronological order.

    4) Pagination - Yup, we are aware that the handling of big threads is not good currently. Having to click show more a zillion times is not a good user experience. Stay tuned for updates.
