My posts and replies keep disappearing?
I have posted/commented like half a dozen times today (which isn't unusual for me, as I am fairly active when I want to be) but my posts keep disappearing?!
HollownessDevour It's possible the forum has flagged your account as possible spam and is removing (almost) everything. For individual posts, or the threads they're in, you can click the Report button and say you believe a post of yours is caught in the spam filter. But you don't need to do that for everything; just report one and mention that a number of other posts disappeared.
It'll probably take several hours to get the posts back, unless the forum releases them on its own, since community managers aren't online all the time.
As for why this is happening, the forum has been hit with several severe spam attacks and has a steady drip of spam posts. So the filter might be tuned to be more aggressive than is typical.
