I think it's FreddyFox1234 who has added username wrote. I don't know if he did it manually in bold font.
Nope, I'm afraid I have no idea how others have been able to get username wrote to show at the start of quotes. I've just been adding the post author's name manually (as in this post). I think crocobaura has been able to do it?

Community AdminIf you mark some text from the post you are trying to reply to, a "quote" icon will show up. Click that and it will preformat it as quote with "Username wrote"

EA_NilsThank you (and alsoGlacierSnowGhost ) for showing me how this works. I’ve been trying it out but the problem is that it doesn’t seem designed to work on iPad and possibly other touchscreen devices. I use my iPad more than my computer for being on the forums. But when you select the text you want, you get a menu pop-up (Copy, Translate, Look up, etc) that appears on top of the quote symbol and hides it. I can just about see the quote symbol hiding behind, but I can’t click on it without clicking on ‘Copy’ or whatever first. And when I do click on one of those menu options, that menu bar disappears revealing the quote symbol, but the symbol doesn’t then function as it should. I’ve tried this repeatedly and I just can’t make it work.
I’ll have to try it out on my computer as well, but this seems to be a fault in the design for those using touchscreen devices (at least, iPad).
