Spore in Japanese??

I’ve been scouring the internet for literal hours to solve my issue of Spore opening in Japanese after installing it through the EA App. I CAN’T add “ "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SPORE\Sporebin\SporeApp.exe" -L en-us” because I lack the permissions to do so. I can’t navigate the in-game menu, the whole thing is in Japanese! Google Lens can only do so much, and it is not helpful at all. I’ve repaired the spore app in the EA App several times, each time nothing changes. I even deleted every single language file except for English I was so desperate. 
If anyone can help me, PLEASE tell me what I’m meant to do before I lose my mind.
