6 month cooldown on linking Xbox account

I'm sorry to hear that you've been receiving pushback when trying to re-link those accounts, especially as the unlinking occurred unintentionally.

I understand the frustration that comes with the cooldown obstructing your access to purchased games, but there isn't anything we can do here on the forums to support you, as we don't have the tools to do so. This might not be the response you were hoping for, but if you've already connected with our live support team and shared the accidental nature of this unlinking to no avail, then I'm afraid you'll need to wait out the cooldown period. 

You can try contacting support again and referencing this thread for context, but ultimately, that decision will be live support's to make per protocol, and we can't guarantee you'll receive a different response. Sorry again to hear that you're in this situation.

Can you explain why an accidental sign in results in not being able to access content I paid for? For 6 months? This is an extreme measure and you are now withholding me from $100s of dollars of content I already paid for. This should be illegal.
