Thanks for taking the time to explain what had happened. Glad to hear that you've regained access to your account, and hopefully you've also gone through as many of these security steps as possible to ensure the account remains secure.
Please note that you'll need to be signed in on the account with the ban in order for the Penalty History Tool to populate. You can confirm by checking your Connected Accounts page to see if your gamertag(s) are listed and if all the usual platform accounts are present. If you've made any purchases in the past, checking your Order History for those records will also help confirm. Signing in to the EA App and checking if the time played for certain games in your library matches up with what you recall would be another indication of whether you're on the correct account.
