Account recovery or linking a different account to EA/Steam
Back in 2018, I created an Origin account and purchased Star Wars Battlefront II on it. Around mid-2019, I lost access to the email address associated with that account. Even at that time, I encountered difficulties trying to recover both the email and consequently the Origin account.
Recently, during the Steam Summer Sale, I repurchased the game on my Steam account to play it again, and created a brand new EA Account. However, since my Steam account was previously linked to my old EA account (whose login credentials I no longer possess), I'm now facing two issues:
- I can't access the old EA account
- My new EA account doesn't recognize the game purchase because it's tied to the old account
I would greatly appreciate assistance with either:
- Recovering my original EA account (preferred solution), or
- Having my Steam account unlinked from the old EA account so I can connect it to my new EA account instead
