Thanks for not providing any account details here! We aren't able to make changes to accounts via the forums for precisely that reason.
If you're unable to re-link a particular account due to that linking cooldown, it would be best to contact support directly to see what options are available. If the wrong account was linked they'll be best equipped to take a look at whether it's possible to get that changed before the cooldown expires.
Selecting the Contact us option at the bottom of the linking article or using the above link should let you start a case so they can check into this with you.
