An unknown email is registered on my account and it also says it has been banned

So I hadn't used my account in a few months and when I started Battlefield V through Steam I got a message saying my account had been banned. I tried logging in in the EA page but my email didn't appear as an existing account. Weird. So through the app which had the account logged in I checked that my email was one that I do not recognize. I submitted a help request under "If you can't access your account" but I don't know how much does it take for an answer or where is the answer sent since the account is linked to another email. I need some help with this since I really wouldn't like losing my account.
