Can’t link EA account to PSN

hi

I just created an EA account and when i try to link it to my PSN it says there’s already an address associated with it (da*****@disabled.ea.com) .. this obviously isn’t my email address, and i’ve never been banned.

The only thing i can think of is the Madden game i bought was second hand , and it gave me a QR code to scan to log back in, which i tried … maybe it associated the previous owners? How do i fix this? TIA

The help guides seem to be telling me to make a new EA account .. but i just made this one, so i don’t really understand
