EA Chat Support no longer available

I need to chat with someone to merge an old EA account with an email that i deleted years ago to my current EA account. I tried twice and they told me my details were incorrect, (what?) so they couldn't help, and now the chat option is just gone. What gives?

    Hey Anonymous​ contact options are dependent on a number of factors and all may not be available at all times.
