The TLDR of how to avoid getting scammed:

  1. Be skeptical - if its too good to be true it usually is!
  2. Verify the message/offer through official Websites or SM accounts
  3. Watch out for intentional typos or misspelled URLs - they didn't make a mistake, but they hope you will!
  4. Impersonation - people claiming to be creators, developers, or support contacting you on 3rd party platforms is sus, don't fall for it and verify all communications!
