EA support live is hard to support simple things like before

Question

When I wanted to change my email and didn't want to wait 30 days EA support couldn't help me change my email immediately and asked me to wait 30 days. 2 months ago I was able to ask them to change my email without any problem, they said that currently EA live support can't update or change anything in the account and they need me to contact them after a while. Even if someone is trying to recover their account they can't. Is this a temporary limitation of EA support or a complete policy change on EA's support process? They wanted me to verify that I was the account owner by email and I did but then they said they can't help...

This is standard EA policy for account security, I'm afraid. We can only update our email addresses and/or EA IDs once every 30 days, unless it's a case of changing the account email address back to an old one that was used before.
If you wanted to double check, the "Update your information" section has the disclaimer about the waiting period.&nbsp;
