Extraction Shooter

Question

Should EA/Respawn make an extraction shooter as their next game?

Perhaps so, and in the apex legends universe sounds nice! (You already have amazing abilities, lore, worlds and ideas!)

Imagine dropships, a default data knife, and your looting instincts and will to live! You can be part of new/existing factions (imc, ect.), legends or just a human (abilities, vs free kit?) , solo or in a squad. (The classic) [Just a rough idea]

The world can perhaps bring back some of our favorite parts of apex. Trains, bunkers, vaults and armory-style areas! (And more!)

The loot can be anything! Shields, Guns, and Backpacks! (The basics) Weapon Mods, Abilities [Enhanced?] And Key cards! (The upgrade items) Crafting items, lootable items and high value items! (My ideas are too long to fit here)

I imagine dropping into a world with other squads, you don't have to eliminate everyone. (But you can try.) I can run around the map sneaking, chasing or just camping/chilling. (It suits a variety of playstyles.) I can choose to loot POI's, find keycards and persue, eliminate threats to steal, then call a dropship to take me back to base. (Thats the basics, but theres more)

I think this game has a perfect tier and compatibility with this idea. Imagine finding gold or even red items! Imagine you love apex and just want a more relaxing experience vs just shooting constantly to be the last one alive. (I know I am, so make it only when you want to, or need too!)

I love apex legends and the story, the characters and worlds, the players and items, and I love buying skins for wraith! (*cough* and loba)

This can bring some whole new revenue, potential, and players back to the world they love! (And new players who may of liked apex but didn't want to be sweaty to win.) This was just a rough idea imagined by me. Things can be tweaked, and ideas can be suggested. But I really think this would be a great idea. Now to finish this off I'll suggest a name for the game: The Outlands!

I think the big problem with extraction shooters 1uze6494jh4u​ is how many do we need?
We are seeing a lot of these kinds of games release and then a month later shut down as the playerbase seems to be dedicated to a few main games with little interest in any more.
Not saying it wouldn't work or could not be fun just that the current gaming landscape seems very uninterested in such new releases.
What I would love is a pick up and play one, know Remedy have been doing it and I've really enjoyed how easy it is to just play wherever without having to try and get half a dozen people online at the same time.
