Fraudulent EA account linked to my Steam since 2022 — 6 cases, no fix

    Glad to hear you were able to recover those hacked accounts. Hopefully, you've had the opportunity to run through the recommended security steps from Steam, your email provider, and any other platform accounts that were affected. 

    This might not be the response you were hoping for, but I'm afraid we aren't able to support or escalate account-related requests here on the forums. Our live support team would be the only route to have this investigated, as they have access to account information and the necessary tools to look into this. It'd be best to wait for that dedicated team's response in the meantime, and continue contacting support if the link isn't resolved afterward.

    Thanks for coming back to me. Understood that the forums can’t action this directly.

    For clarity though: live support is where all six of my cases have gone, including one closed as “no fix available” on the same day an agent told me it had been escalated. The last agent told me only the owner of the connected EA account can request an unlink, which would make a connection created during a compromise permanent.

    You’ve said live support has the tools to investigate this. Could you confirm that they can search platform-connection records by Steam ID and remove a connection created without authorisation? That’s the specific question no agent has answered.

    I’ll wait for the dedicated team on 253502237 and update here either way.
