Hello and thank you for the detailed explanation and providing your device information, this is actually a known issue based on what you've described,
What Happened: In May 2026, a Windows 10 ESU cumulative update had a driver regression bug. Microsoft acknowledged this in their May 2026 known‑issues bulletin. It's causing exactly what you're describing — blue and black screens (this is generally a sign of something with the graphics driver or hardware acceleration).
The Quickest Fix — Try This First
- Click Start
- Go to Settings → Windows Update
- Click Check for Updates
- Let everything install
- Restart your computer
- Test your games
Microsoft released an automatic fix called a "Known Issue Rollback" that should come through the Windows Update and restore your graphics driver to the correct version.
If That Doesn't Work — Update Your Graphics Driver Manually
- Right click your Start button
- Click Device Manager
- Find Display Adapters
- Right click your graphics card name
- Select Update Driver
- Choose Search Automatically
- Restart and test your games
If You Know Your Graphics Card Brand - Download the latest driver directly. *This is the best and as gamers, we should be doing this anyways. I created a guide for our community here > Pogo Graphics Guide
Important to know: Unlike a few years ago, graphics drivers now require regular updates every 2-4 weeks. This is because modern browser games use advanced graphics technology that relies on current drivers to run properly.
Also Worth Trying: Simply trying a different browser. If you use Edge try Chrome, or vice versa. Sometimes this alone resolves display issues temporarily.
Hope this gets you back to playing soon!
