Help Removing Mentions

Hello,
My previous EA ID is still publicly visible in old posts and user mentions. Even after I updated it, those mentions haven't changed and can still be found through search.
EA customer support advised me to post this issue here. 

Is there any way to sync or update the old mentions  that still display my previous EA ID to reflect my new EA ID?
