From what you described, this sounds more like an account linking issue rather than something on the console itself. I don’t have access to account-level details from here, but a couple of quick checks you could try:
- Sign in to your EA Account on a browser (not the Switch)
- Go to Connections and check if your Nintendo account is still linked there
- If it is, see if the option to unlink is available (sometimes it’s restricted depending on the account state)
