How do I unlink an old account?

My original EA account is tied to an @sbcglobal.net email. I lost this password year ago, and the only way to recover it is using your AT&T account, which I've never had. So essentially I need to unlink my Steam account from my old EA account so I can link it to my current account. This seems like an issue that support could solve, but they are elusive.

Yeah, I am sorry to say that no one here will be able to help you with that, but you are already on the right track in reaching out to https://help.ea.com/en/
Do be sure to read this guide from EA Help on it though, as they lay out some of the factors to consider when unlinking!
