I can't merge my account because I can't connect to an advisor no matter what I do. It's getting real frustrating being redirected to a help page that has no use for me as I can't merge the accounts myself. I recently realized I've accidentally made two accounts and I'd rather have all my content in one place. It's a mistake I'd like to see corrected but the support is lacking in a big way.

I finally have it sorted and I have all my Sims 3 content in one place now and I couldn't be happier.
I mean it should but it's not really working that way without me trying to troubleshoot things. It's so time consuming trying to get in touch with anyone I might need to wait until like Monday at the earliest to have more time for it.

Finally got through and almost got the issue fixed. Only to be told there's issues on their end and my account information can't be verified. So I guess I'm left waiting for who knows how long hoping this'll be fixed. Apparently people have been reporting this issue and they're apparently working on a fix. But honestly I doubt that. And who knows this might be an old problem they just haven't bothered to do anything about. Seeing the state of the customer support I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.
Got an email saying an advisor is available for chat but it's still not connecting and now I have two cases stuck in the this case have been resumed elsewhere loop and I can't get past it.
I've had the chat open for 11 hours and it still says connecting. It said the wait time was around 4 minutes. This customer service is unforgivable and that's an understatement. Went to resume my case but now it keeps saying it's already been resumed on another browser or device. I've closed any other help window I had and cleared my browsing data but it's now stuck saying that and I can't do anything about it. This system blows and it's not made to be helpful in the slightest. Just says to close the session to continue but nothing happens. Even restarted my laptop and that didn't help either. Got a new case going but now the estimated wait time is 477 minutes lol.
Tried with a private browser window and got my case submitted and it's connecting the chat but nothing's happening so far. Last time it connected almost right away.
