Live Chat Broken?

I have been trying to get in touch with live chat on the EA Help site for several hours. It will originally give me the option for a live chat with an estimated wait of 180ish mins. However, after only a few mins, the estimated wait number will disappear and nothing will happen after hours of waiting. One of a few times I tried to get into a chat again I actually got a “no agents are available try again later” message.

Like many others, my PSN is linked to an old EA account with an email I can’t access anymore for a 2FA code. So I cannot play any EA games.

I understand betas are live right now so support is swamped, but it’s not even the wait times that suck, it’s the fact that it is just BROKEN.

Blame EA for being this stupid for thinking that linking old EA accounts to PSN usernames would be a great idea. They should at the very least give players the authority to decide which of their accounts is linked to what email address and gaming system.

They are bound to lose many customers over this!

Update: I was able to get through to the live chat on EA Help! However they asked 9 questions to verify that I was who I said I was. Apparently I didn’t provide satisfactory answers and they couldn’t even try other billing addresses (I’ve moved a lot) or birthdays (I made the account before I was 17 so probably fibbed the year to play M games) without starting a new ticket and waiting 6 hours to get through again.

I guess I just can’t play BF games anymore.
