Need to delete account

I am trying to connect to my EA account on PS5 in order to sign in to Madden 26. I am receiving a message that says that the EA account I am trying to connect is linked to a PlayStation network account that is different from the one I am currently using. I believe I created an EA account 12 years ago on PS3. The PlayStation network profile/username I had then was different then it currently is now on PS5. As a result, I cannot login to my EA account on madden 26 on the PS5.

I wanted to simply delete my EA account, so that I could then create a new account with the same email address and link it to my current PlayStation network account, if someone could assist me with that, please. Thank you!

    Hi bstan2350​,

    Could you pop up a screenshot of what you're seeing, and walk me through where and how you're seeing this message? For example, are you playing Madden on the PlayStation Console, while logged into your PSN account? If so, the PSN is correct.

    What's likely happening is you're seeing the email for your EA account appear on screen, which you mentioned you set up with your older PSN info at the time. Do you still have access to that email?
