Old account help
I downloaded Apex Legends back in like 2019 on my PS4. I never had an EA account and I dont ever remember making a EA account so im assuming PSN made one for me and just linked my email to it. Anyways im back in 2026 trying to play apex with my friends on my PS5 and its saying I havent logged in in awhile and its telling me to reset my password. The issue is the email its sending the password reset to is my moms old Yahoo account that she deleted over 10 years ago so I have absolutely no access to that account or no information to recover it. Id like to be able to change the email my EA is linked to, to the email I use today and hopefully keep my old Apex Legends PlayStation progress, but if not I atleast want to be able to log in and play the game. Everytime I boot up the game on the PS5 Im stuck on this screen. No option to log out or even use a different account.

Your Apex progress would be saved to the old EA account, so if that's the Yahoo email you can't access, unlinking it from there would cause your progress to be lost. Without access to the email address registered to the EA account, you'll want to reach out to our support team directly so they can help update those account details.
The steps on this page would typically help you update that information, but since you no longer have access to the email itself it'd be best to just scroll to the bottom for the Contact us option or create a new case here. An advisor will need to verify a few account details and should be able to work with you to get things updated from there.
