Old PSN account unkinked

So I linked my PS account years and years ago. I mostly playing pc so I don't care about any old PS account game progress or anything. But this means I can't link my new account...ever? That's insane to me. I can't seem to get hold of anyone who can sort this issue on Sony side or EA side at all.

I don't know if there is a solution but having a lifetime link seems unnecessary and massively consumer unfriendly

The lifetime link is designed to protect against malicious activity and performance issues, but I totally get how it can feel a bit restrictive when you want to make changes.

While you can remove the old PSN link if you'd like, it won't free up the EA account to connect a new PSN account in its place.

I wish I had better news for you. If you've picked up some EA games on your new PSN and want to play them online, you can connect your PSN to a new EA account. It does mean having separate EA accounts, one for PC and one for the new PSN.

    Hi gorsoran,

It's been quiet here lately, and we hope that means the advice was helpful. We're going to wrap up this discussion for now, but if there's anything else , don't hesitate to start a new thread or jump into an active one, and we'll do our best to help with recommendations.

    Thanks and happy Gaming o/
