Permanent Ban for "Observed Gameplay Enhancement" – Requesting Advice
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice or share a similar experience.
Yesterday I received an email from EA stating that my Battlefield 6 account had been permanently banned for "observed gameplay enhancement." This came as a complete shock because I've never knowingly used cheats, hacks, or any gameplay-enhancing software.
After looking into my account security, I found several successful Steam logins from locations I don't recognize that occurred a few days/weeks before the ban. I also discovered that Steam Guard had been disabled without my knowledge. Because of this, I'm concerned that my account may have been accessed by someone else before the ban was issued.
I've already submitted an appeal and explained what I found, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. If your account was compromised, how did EA handle your appeal? Were you able to provide any evidence that helped?
I'm not trying to argue with the rules—I just want my case to be reviewed fairly, as I genuinely don't believe I violated the game's policies myself.
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
