Trying to access EA email

Hi everyone ! Not sure if this is the correct place to post but I am running out of ideas. I have been a sims4 player since 2017 and I am currently running out of space on my computer to be able to play or update my game. Due to this I bought an external hard drive, however to uninstall the game and reinstall it, you need your game credentials. I have my email address and my username but I forgot my password. To change your password you need access to your email which i do not have. When i signed up i was given an email that ends with "ea.com" and I have looked everywhere to access this email however I have no idea where to access an ea.com inbox. I tried contacting EA for support to change my password or my email address but they cannot "due to the nature of the email". Does anyone know where to access an ea.com email because I am currently at a loss.

    Hi there. When you signed up, you shouldn't have been given an ea.com email. What you should do is open a case with an advisor so they can verify you own the account and update the email. Cases can be opened by going to this page and scrolling to the bottom. Hit the 'Contact us' button to start that process. Thanks!

    Hey ! I already tried to contact them and they were no help. They kept telling me that they cant update the email "due to the nature of the email".  I'm struggling to figure out what that means and how to change things myself but I haven't found a solution yet.
