Unable to access old EA account and can't link new one to Xbox account

So basically, a long time ago I had an EA account, that account was linked to both my Xbox account and an old yahoo email. However I can't login to that old account, I can't delete that old account, ...

So my Xbox account is forever linked to a dead EA account and there's nothing I can do about it?

I'm running into the exact same issue right now. Was completely unaware until I tried to get early access to the BF6 Beta. Spent half an hour watching some clown to get the code only to find out my EA account is attached to my email address from college ten years ago that has long since been deactivated by the university. EA is such a joke man

    This is also my exact issue down to the university :).  Did you go to Kansas?
